Calculate Your BMI
To determine your BMI, please tell us your current height and weight:
Please note that BMI is not accurate for pregnant women, people under 5 feet tall, and people with very muscular builds. It also does not account for age.
By using our Body Mass Index (BMI) calculator, you can determine if your current weight falls within a healthy target weight range. BMI is the measure of body fat based on your personal height and weight. It is a simple, quick, and widely-used tool to determine this information for men and women.
For adults over 18, a healthy BMI is between 18.5 and 25. A result below 18.5 indicates that you may be underweight and a figure of or above 25 indicates that you may be overweight. This tool is the most widely accepted for screening for obesity in children and adolescents. Because weight changes significantly for children based on age, gender and ethnicity, a BMI test will need to be adjusted appropriately for age and sex.
Fill in the above calculator to determine your BMI. It does not account for age, pregnancy, people who are less than five feet tall or have muscular builds.
